DIRECTIONS TO WILDERNESS DUNES FROM CAPE TOWN Drive through Riviersonderend, Heidelberg, Mossel Bay and George Continue travelling towards Wilderness Once you have crossed over the Lagoon you should see a circle with a road called South Street (a Caltex garage is on the right), take a right (Caltex is now on the left). Turn first right again (before the small turning circle). After traveling straight for about 100 metes the road bends to the left but in front is a covered guardhouse called Gardens Estates / Wilderness Dunes , sign in with the security guard and follow the brick road for 900m until you reach the Wilderness Dunes reception. FROM PORT ELIZABETH-KNYSNA-WILDERNESS From the N2 Highway, you should see a circle with a road called South Street (a Caltex garage is on the left), take a left (Caltex is now on the left). FROM JOHANNESBURG Take the N1 to Beaufort West until you get to the N12 to George As you drive through George, keep left on Davidson Road Drive through Courtenay Street and pass the Museum Go down Knysna Street Follow this road to the N2 Highway (there will be sign boards leading to the N2) Follow the N2 towards Wilderness Once you have crossed over the Lagoon you should see a circle with a road called South Street (a Caltex garage is on the right), take a right (Caltex is now on the left). FROM THE GEORGE AIRPORT From George Airport to Wilderness Dunes (22km) 100 meters prior to exiting the airports parking a slip road to the left towards George will appear (DO NOT take this turn), follow the road straight until you reach a T-Junction. At the T-Junction take a right and follow this winding right bend road for about 1km. On the left hand side, a green sign towards George will appear (N2 George), take this left on-ramp. This part of the N2 highway is known as the garden route road and will take you from George to Wilderness, to Knysna, to Plettenberg bay and so on. The N2 begins as a triple lane highway and will increase and decrease in size until you begin traveling on a single lane road.
