Pick up your Bush Lapa at Orpen Gate and roam freely between all of Kruger’s rest camps at your own pace. Stay where you like, when you like. We can book your campsites on points if you wish.

🛈 EB or E-Class driver’s licence required to tow. Braked trailer mass may not exceed tow vehicle’s tare, up to a maximum of 3 500 kg.

  • Included: SANParks Camping Costs and Community Levy.
  • Excluded: All Park Fees. Park fees can be paid at the Kruger National Park entrance gates on arrival.
  • Wild Cards may be used.
  • Up-size to a 6-sleeper adventure: + 250 points per night*

LAZY LEOPARD OPTION - Camps You Can Explore

Beloved rest camps and rustic hideaways across central and northern Kruger. Subject to SANParks availability.

Satara is a busy camp, and not without reason. It is situated in an excellent game viewing area, with the bush relatively open and the animals plentiful and diverse.
Maroela is a small camp situated on the banks of the Timbavati River, on the western boundary of the Kruger National Park, approximately 2km east of Orpen Rest Camp.
Deep in the heart of the Kruger National Park, in the most exquisite topography, lies a small satellite camp.
Tsendze, the Tsonga word for ‘tsendzeleka’ or ‘to ramble around like someone lost in the bush’ is the newest accommodation addition to the Kruger National Park.No electricity. Solar & battery support for up to 3 nights.
The idyllic Letaba Rest Camp is situated on a sweeping bend of the Letaba River, midway between the southern and northern boundaries of the Kruger National Park.

FAQs

How many people can it sleep?
The Bush Lapa sleeps up to 4 guests comfortably — it’s a shared, cosy space perfect for couples or small families.

Do I need to bring anything?
Just your food, drinks, and sense of adventure — everything else is provided.

Can I go off-grid?
Yes. The caravan’s solar and battery setup allows for up to 3 nights of self-sufficient camping at sites without electricity (e.g., Tzendze).

What if my chosen camp is full?
We’ll help you secure an alternative option nearby and confirm both SANParks campsite and caravan availability before finalising.
